Would you like to improve your writing skills in English?
Welcome to the Big Fish English Writing project. The Big Fish team is going to help you to improve your writing skills.
We are going to correct and edit your work to help you develop your writing skills in English.
The idea for the writing project came from Rachel Costa who is our friend and student at the London English Conversation Group. She is a journalist from Brazil who is keen to develop her writing skills.
Her idea is to contribute to the blog, writing articles on the topics that are important to the Big Fish English community. The topics of interest include professional development, reaching fluency in English, experiences about moving to London (or another big move) and making positive changes in your life.
On the road to brilliant writing in English.
How it works.
- You are going to write about your experiences of reaching fluency in English, living in a new city or developing your career. (You are welcome to come up with your own ideas too).
- The Big Fish team is going to correct and edit your work so you can learn from your mistakes for next time.
- Your writing is going to be published here on the Big Fish English blog.
- It’s completely free.
Get started today.
If you would like to get involved in the Big Fish Writing Project you should follow these steps:
1. Decide on an idea for your article.
The first step is to think of an idea. To get some inspiration you can look at this list.
2. Tell me your idea.
When you have an idea, contact me (by email or in the comments below) and I will help you to develop your idea – when we have agreed on the idea, you can start writing. You should write at least 300 words but not more that 600.
3. Send me your article.
When you have finished writing you can send me your work – my email address is below. I will then correct your English and help you to develop a natural and confident style.
Please email me with your ideas and questions:
You can also leave a comment and I will get back to you.
I can’t wait to see your work!
